Offshore the Dubai Marina, the Bluewaters Island development is currently under construction which further enhances the Dubai waterfront. Overseas AST is installing a district cooling pipeline from the mainland to the island over the existing main breakwater of the Dubai Marina entrance. The approximate pipeline location has a length of approx. 300m.
CDR provided Technical/Engineering assistance for:
– Technical solution for the installation and protection of the pipeline (two alternatives);
– Principle design drawings of the recommended technical solution;
– Redesign of the breakwater whereby the pipeline is located inside the breakwater.
