The AIRBM (Ayeyarwady Integrated River Basin Management) Project is a World Bank funded project of 100 million USD with the aim of developing inland waterway transport on the Ayeyarwady River within the framework of integrated water management.
The Ministry of Transport-DWIR / PMU / Royal HaskoningDHV have assigned this project (Ayeyarwady River Basin Management (AIRBM), Navigation Component, Sub-Project No. 1) to CDR.
CDR is responsible for planning of overall project objectives and design of river training works, dredging and associated mathematical modelling studies for the Mandalay corridor. Furthermore responsible for planning of MCA scenario’s and transport economics.
